The Bergrivier GC is a short, nine hole, public golf course measuring to an estimated 5880 meters. The golf course at Bergrivier Golf Club has a veld / kikuyu grass fairway finish with well keep Bent grass greens.  This golf course has a SAGA par rating value of 72 and hopes to develop to be amongst the best golf courses in the West Coast region.

Bergrivier Golf Club was established in 1985. Locals and a few club members, who were skilful apprentices of natural landscaping in their own right as farmers, collaborated to design and build this visually pleasing, fun and playable aesthetic cohesion of vegetation, undulating lands, bunkers, water bodies, paths, grasses, and stonework.

Other facilities at the Bergrivier Golf Club include a driving range, a bar, and restaurant.

The golf course is about 30 kilometres from the small town of Vredenburg, in the Western Cape, South Africa. For driving directions from Vredenburg, head northeast on the R399 rd. (Velddrift road) for about 20 km until you join the R27. Drive over the Bergrivier bridge for about 2 km. Make a left turn onto R399 (Voortrekker Rd). Drive for about 8 more kilometres, then lookout for signs to the golf course, Bergrivier Golf Club will be on the right.
